I received this beautifully crafted hat from Simon and Mary, and I am so incredibly in love with it. The style is the black Leah from their traditional ladies range and all I can say is that I find every excuse to wear it! Take a look at the AW ’14 lookbook.
Australian designers, Deborah Sams and Mary-Lou Ryan, together known as Bassike, present the light and urban collection for Resort 2015. The collection is perfectly set against the backdrop of the skate park, complimenting the tone and nature of the collection. The collection bares subtle hues with predominant colours of black, white and grey. There are loose silhouettes with the exaggerated and elongated designs, stemming off from classic lines. Bassike have maintained the balance between highly structured designs with tasteful sporty-chic.

French designer, Camille Tanoh has launched his second shoe model, “Proper Sneaker.” It’s sleek, elegant and you can only get it in white. Watch the video, directed by the talented Loren Denis. The video was what led me to this sneaker… it’s insanely creative and beautifully shot.
I was slightly surprised to see that Die Antwoord’s song was used for the Dior Addict Fragrance but it works and it’s pretty cool. Local is always better, even though I have my reservations about Die Antwoord, but I’ll keep them as reservations. It works, it’s pretty and it’s kinda rad.
New York based designer, Rachel Comey, has just released her latest lookbook and it’s something to look forward to. Her simple designs are versatile and her lookbook integrates a range of patterns and shapes. The collection has such a wide range that one could not find a matching outfit, and that’s the beauty of this collection. I love the box cuts and denim.
Pichulik has just released their Autumn Winter 2014 collection and it looks magnificent. The collection was inspired by the photography of Helmut Newton, who took intimate portraits of powerful women in their own personal space. The idea is all about close up encounters and this collection can definitely give you the confidence to do so. The jewel tones and wooden parts, suede and agate stone, tassels and bold colours, the collection reflects the glamour of 70s disco and the psychedelic soul.
