I received this beautifully crafted hat from Simon and Mary, and I am so incredibly in love with it. The style is the black Leah from their traditional ladies range and all I can say is that I find every excuse to wear it! Take a look at the AW ’14 lookbook.
Pichulik has just released their Autumn Winter 2014 collection and it looks magnificent. The collection was inspired by the photography of Helmut Newton, who took intimate portraits of powerful women in their own personal space. The idea is all about close up encounters and this collection can definitely give you the confidence to do so. The jewel tones and wooden parts, suede and agate stone, tassels and bold colours, the collection reflects the glamour of 70s disco and the psychedelic soul.

I wasn’t exactly blown away by all the designers at SA Fashion Week but there are a few that stood out. My favourite show was Anmari Honiball’s Spring Summer collection. It was incredibly unique and conceptual. So much thought and meaning went into the collection, even down to the music choice for the run way. I was lucky enough to interview Anmari before her show and lucky enough to go back stage and take some pictures.
One of my favourite designers, Cloche, had an installation last night at South African Fashion Week and the masterpieces speak for themselves. Such delicate and beautiful work.
One of my favourite shows last night was Amanda Laird Cherry’s Spring Summer 2014 collection at SA fashion week. It’s casual and clean and I love the bold prints in some of the looks and the elegant skirts dressed down with a casual t-shirt. Take a look at the collection here!
