Australian designers, Deborah Sams and Mary-Lou Ryan, together known as Bassike, present the light and urban collection for Resort 2015. The collection is perfectly set against the backdrop of the skate park, complimenting the tone and nature of the collection. The collection bares subtle hues with predominant colours of black, white and grey. There are loose silhouettes with the exaggerated and elongated designs, stemming off from classic lines. Bassike have maintained the balance between highly structured designs with tasteful sporty-chic.
Australian brand, Bassike, have released their Autumn Winter 2014 lookbook and have managed to combine two trends, and quite harmoniously at that. The combination of Italian milled cashmere, merino wool and bonded leather gives you the clean and simple lines together with the soft colour pallet of lights grey’s and dirty light pinks. Each outfit is tied together with a pair of Birkenstocks giving it a casual aspect. One thinks of comfort tied together with luxe fabrics.

Everything was beautiful and delicate and I felt like royalty just being inside the shop. I had had my first experience of Shanghai Tang, a clothing label started by a Hong Kong business man, David Tang in 1994.
